Here it is – a piece of feeling with deep contents. October is slowly falling down, so while this beauty of sadness floats, we present the tape from ИIM. It is called “Flow my tears” – as simple it may sound, it carries a journey of senses much farther away. We all know such feeling, but we all know, how difficult is to squeeze it into words. Although there is a wish to share these encounters, the closest thing to express them is to stay together in silence and contemplate ghostly feelings. They are lost in the wind over a pastel-colored field, which stretches in front of us.
ИIM is a quite new project but appears like a ripe one. The beautiful ponds of ambients, a touch of neoclassical solemnity, the wise use of variuos sound techniques. All of this intertwines with poetry, which connects to a composition with the same name, written by John Dowland (1563-1626). So renaissance is here behind the corner, ephemeral and current at the same time. Quoting a text from Domynikas Digimas: “It seems that the melancholic spirit of Downland’s England is still relevant nowadays. The science of psychology, which has made big progress during the 20th century, offers an adequate explanation of this phenomenon. Sigmund Freud compares melancholy to mourning, noting the similarity between these two emotional states, but also showing the difference which lies in the relationship with the object of mourning. In the case of melancholy, the object is either non-existent or the mourner himself becomes the object.”
Sound artist Yiorgis Sakellariou (Greece) and violist Monika Kiknadze (Lithuania) also should be mentioned as collaborators in some tracks.

Štai ir turime gilaus dalyko žiūpsnį. Beveik pusvalandis garso, kuriame telpa melancholiškas lėtai krintančio spalio grožis. ИIM – “Flow my tears”. Skambėtų kaip ir paprastai, tačiau turinys neša išties toli. Apie nemažai daliai pažįstamą jausmą, kuomet tai, ką norisi išreikšti, nesigauna įsprausti žodžiuosna. Nepaisant to, noras pasidalinti šiais neišsakymais išlieka nenumaldomu. Bendras tokių vaiduokliškų nuojautų stebėjimas tyloje yra turbūt arčiausiai galimumo tuo pasidalinti. Pastelinius laukus vėjo kedenamus regint.
ИIM – ganėtinai naujas projektas, tačiau iš čia kylantys garsynai yra brandūs, gilūs ir paliečiantys jautrumo nendres. Tyvuliuojantys ambient tvenkiniai įteka į neoclassical skambesiu žibančias sroves, kurios vos vos brūkšteli drone pakrantes, ir per instrumentų ar juostų skambesį suplūsta virpančion delton. „Flow my tears“ šaknimis nutįsęs link to paties pavadinimo anglų kompozitoriaus John Dowland (1563-1626) kūrinio. Taigi, čia pat turime ir skepetaite mojantį renesansą. Skambesį užpildanti elegiška atmosfera prašosi citatos iš Dominyko Digimo teksto apie šį kūrinį: “Akivaizdu, kad tuo meto Anglijoje vyravusi melancholiška jausena, aktuali ir šiems laikams. Psichologijos mokslas per XX amžių padaręs didelę pažangą pasiūlo adekvačių šio reiškinio vertinimų – Sigmunt Freud melancholiją lyginą su gedulu, pabrėždamas šių jausenų tapatumą, o kaip skirtybę nurodydamas santykį į gedimąjį objektą, kurio melancholijos atveju arba nėra, arba juo tampa pats gedintysis.“
Bet tebūnie. Nes reikia dar paminėti ir prisidėjusius prie šio kūrinio dalių Yiorgis Sakellariou (Graikija) bei altininkę Moniką Kiknadzę, taip.
